Dakota Communities is an innovative non-profit organization founded in West St. Paul in 1972 by parents of children with disabilities, volunteers, and community partners. Today we support adults and children with intellectual, physical and developmental disabilities in their family homes, their communities, and 33 Dakota Communities residential settings throughout the Greater Twin Cities metropolitan area. We currently provide person-centered services in eight counties: Anoka, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Ramsey, Sherburne, Washington, and Wright. Our Non-Residential services include independent living services, semi-independent living services, and in-home family support.
Dakota Communities delivers exceptional services that transform the lives of people impacted by disabilities.
